39th Tablescape - Bountiful Harvest Browns

Fall is a great time - Harvest Time  warm browns, pumpkin orange, stray beige..wonderful colors that imminate work well done!  A time for us to thank farmers for their months of work that lead to our wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!  This tablescape was a joy to put together, being able to use so many different beautiful plates made by some wonderful Fine China Companies.

I started with Waverly/Garden Room dinner plate -

Then I added Royal Stafford "Harvest Home Haystack" salad plates - this set of plates offeres 4 diffferent scenes on the plates....

Then I added some Royal Tudor Ware "Coaching Taverns" as accent pieces...

The bowls/plates that I placed on the center of the table are of a "no-name" set that are of the same tones of browns....
Now to the full tablescape...

A big bowl of fruit!  (these are glass - very shiny)
Full length view...

Brown candles in the hurricane lamps..
Aspargus tray holds glass veggies; as the rooster rests overseeing the table.

22nd Barscape - Fall is here!

With the "Chocolate" Tablescape in the dining room with all the dark shades of brown, had to keep the fall theme going in the kitchen at the breakfast bar!  As you all know my husband, Keith, and I eat most of our meals at the bar unless we have company of more than 5... So this week I used my "Pumpkin Plates" and pulled in other items with those accent colors.

The plates are Pflatzgraff, Market Scene; the bowls are also Pflatzgraff but just the "Soup & Cereal Series". They matched so perfectly. Pflatzgraff is one of my very favorite makers of dinnerware - love the glaze. It is so familiar to me that I am can pick them out of stack of plates at the thrift stores.

I used 2- 22" napkins as placemats then set these round straw placemats on top like chargers then set the place settings.

This set the desert/salad plates are all different fall vegetables - pictured is the pumpkin and the red onion.
With the colors from the plate the napkins I used for the placemats were perfect.

I used the napkin tutorial Susan/BNOTP posted (click here to link to the tutorial).

The green needed to be brought out...found this cornicupia at a Thrift Store I just found it was too pretty to leave sitting there....$2.  The candlesticks are green as well!
Here is the view from the end of the bar!

37th Tablescape - Chocolate

Home from the wedding - whoa!  What a weekend!  The ceremony was beautiful and the happy couple are off to their honeymoon!  Took down my beautiful wedding tablescape and on to "chocolate" .  Found these beautiful candles that look like iced chocolate cupcakes - perfect for my "brown" tablescape!  Love the warm color of brown - perfect for fall!
So the "chocolate" cupcake candles became my centerpiece!
The long view of the table -

Each place setting has a bronze charger; white Homer Laughlin dinner plate; Pamela Gladding desert plate and the acorn bowls are by Home.

Desert plates by Pamela Gladding
The silverware is "Argent" yellow handles.

The glasses are clear glass with embossed leaves

Absolutely, love the elegance of the brown and that the handles of the silverware "yellow" handles stands out as the accent.

20th Barscape - Italian Black & White...

Happy Tablescape Thursday!  So excited - we are two weeks from my niece's wedding!  Since I had the table set for our dinner party with a chef theme - I set the barscape for 3 (we were expecting a guest for dinner) carrying the theme from my tablescape to the barscape. < NEXT POST - THE WEDDING TABLESCAPE - COME BACK AND VISIT TO SEE IT>
Simple - black & white with a touch of red...

Was able to use my newly acquired black candy dish and black and white creamer/sugar bowl.
Some red, white & black candles -

Added alternating black & white flower bowls with a soup spoon.
