25th Tablescape - Pflatzgraff Viena Floral

This week's Tablescape was fun - still enjoying the Hurrican Lamp candlesticks - so I just changed the colors of the candles and the table runner.  The table runner is actually a hand embroidered valance - but I loved it for a table runner - the butterflies were perfect with the Pflatzgraff Vienna Floral.

Bought this entire set for .50 a piece - 16 pieces = $8+ tax - couldn't pass it up! It is one of my favorite Pflatzgraff Sets!

The salad/desert plates are Pflatzgraff but not Vienna Floral - but they were soo pretty and a very good match for this set!

Used a bright green charger, white lace napkins and silver dragon fly napkin rings!

Placed my silver tea service on a yellow flowered tea towel!

Thought it came out very pretty - will be my last spring tablescape since "summer" will officially be here in less than 10 days!!!!

9th Barscape

Just got back from vacation - so it is another barscape.  Using Kensington Staffordshire Ironstone.  I bought these six pieces from a Thrift Store on 1/2 off day!  Love the raised edge and the the blue of these plates!

I started with plain white placemat and decided not to use a charger.  Used tea towels laid on the plates overhanging the bar to bring some color. 

This is my bread plate that I love to use -

And this little gravy boat is just delightful!

Found this Glass-Capped Carafe/Pitcher - It is perfect for coffee cream!

Using my sister, Dawn's, butter biscuit recipe and baking them on Pampered Chef Stone - they were delicious!

Biscuits & Aspargus....(as my husband waits for me to take pics before he eats)Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy & Ice Tea - Dinner is served!

Back from Vacation

Back from two weeks of vacation.  We traveled Colorado, Utah and Arizona's National Park.  Lots of hiking!  Blessed with beautiful weather - only snowed once!  Can you believe it it snowed the end of May.  We did hit a little rain on our way back to Denver on Saturday but it was just a few sprinkles.  Look for pics to be posted soon.  Missed two tablescape Thursdays but will have a new barscape for this week!
