9th Barscape

Just got back from vacation - so it is another barscape.  Using Kensington Staffordshire Ironstone.  I bought these six pieces from a Thrift Store on 1/2 off day!  Love the raised edge and the the blue of these plates!

I started with plain white placemat and decided not to use a charger.  Used tea towels laid on the plates overhanging the bar to bring some color.

This is my bread plate that I love to use -

And this little gravy boat is just delightful!

Found this Glass-Capped Carafe/Pitcher - It is perfect for coffee cream!

Using my sister, Dawn's, butter biscuit recipe and baking them on Pampered Chef Stone - they were delicious!

Biscuits & Aspargus....(as my husband waits for me to take pics before he eats)Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy & Ice Tea - Dinner is served!

Thanks for stopping by, please leave some encouraging words so I know you were here and can visit you! As always, thanks to Susan at BNOTP for bringing us all together again this week! Remember: "Around the World, life is best around the table".

  3. I like your barscape. Your gravy boat really brings back memories for me. When we were first married, in 1975, we owned a small kitchen store and we sold that very same gravy boat. I still have mine, somewhere.

  4. You know I love anything blue and white -- very very pretty. And such a patient husband. (As is mine -- now when he sits down he asks if the pic has been taken before he starts to dig in!!!)
