The finished table above....how it all came together starts below....
Using white fringed placemats and a white lace table runner in trying to keep with the "depression" vintage look.
Here I have set the plate on a charger in order to show the detail of the dishes.
Here is the complete set, dinner plate, desert plate, bowl & goblet.
The tea cup & saucer & a dainty little tea towel.
A lace napkin with a flattened spoon end napkin ring. The overview again... see to the left is a pedestooled candy dish that matches the set.
Center is the matching salt & pepper shakersThe far right rear of the table is the creamer and sugar bowl.
Candles are lit! The reflection from the crystal and candles is beautiful. As always - thanks to Susan at BNOTP for sponsoring Tablescape Thursdays. Remember: "Around the world - - life is best around the table". Thanks for visiting; please leave some encouraging words!
Tammy this is just stunning, those place mats make the table to me. All the pieces are just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my post. Your table is lovely. I relish the idea that so many many years ago, women of modest means could obtain this glassware and set beautiful tables...and that the quality of those items was so good that women today are still creating gorgeous tablescapes with them. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
