35th - Tablescpe -Italian, Chef's (Red & white)

This weekend we are having a block party out our house!  We live in a fairly empty, far between neighborhood so there are only 3 other couples coming for dinner.  We are planning Keith's Spaghetti & Meatballs (can't wait).  Here is the tablescape for our dinner party.

My sister, Dawn got this large Pig Chef for me at a Salvation Army...The ceramic "welcome" sign is always at the end of the table - it is the first thing you see when you walk in the front door.
This is a long view from end to end...

Chef salt, pepper & parmsean cheese shakers - a most for spaghetti...

Since almost all of my china sets are for 4 - I had to use two different sets also napkins, & napkin rings.

A simple lace runner with candlesticks and some red flowers, keeping the height down so conversation is easier...
My serving pieces & Chef Tea light holder

My chef creamer and sugar bowl - the basket holds sweetners...

The buffett is set for desert & Coffee.
Now to light the candles.....

As always - thanks to Susan at BNOTP for sponsoring Tablescape Thursdays. Remember: "Around the world - - life is best around the table". Thanks for visiting; please leave some encouraging words!

  3. I just LOVE your chef collection, and the pig chef is just the quirky icing on the cake. If you were mixing patterns and napkins, you sure did a great job because it all went together perfectly.
