99th Blog Post - 18th Barscape - Roses!

Welcome to my "99th" post!  I am so excited to be so close to my 100th post.  Unfortunately, it will be two weeks til I make that 100th post.  I will be doing a "Wedding Tablescape" in honor of my sister, Dawn's, daughter, Tiffany's - wedding.  The wedding is on 10/10/10 - so the post will be up for awhile. Please come back and visit - it will be worth it to see!

This was an easy barscape to put together.  Red is one of my favorite colors so accessories were easy to find in my linen closet.  White is another of my favorite colors so again - access to different pieces that I could put with this barscape.
The dishes are Churchill of England; purchased at Goodwill for $2.06 a piece.  The wine glasses were also purchase at Goodwill for $1.06 each.
Used a red napkin folded inside a red/white placemat secured with a silver napkin ring.
The placemats are from Hospice Thrift store - 3 for $2.00; the elegant look of lace.
The silverware is several different pieces of silver that I found; they are not a matched set but I love each pattern.
My husband made dinner tonight - Philly Cheese Steaks with all the trimmings - sauteed onions, green peppers and mushrooms - it was delicious.

As always - thanks to Susan at BNOTP for sponsoring Tablescape Thursdays. Remember: "Around the world - -life is best around the table". Thanks for visiting; please leave some encouraging words!
Don't forget to come back in two weeks for my 100th Post - it will be a "wedding tablescape" in honor of my sister, Dawn's daughter, Tiffany's wedding that will take place on 10/10/10!
