48th - Tablescape - A Staffordshire "Yuletide"

Merry Christmas to All!  With Christmas just a few days away had to get out the "Yuletide" china for a tablsescape!  Hope you enjoy!

This china set I almost passed on at the loval Hospice Thrift store - went back 3 times - talked myself out of it twice.  It was marked $10 for the set - when I got to the counter she said - 1/2 off households today - $ glad I couldn't talk myself out of it the third time...

This silver set is pure silver - haven't been able to find out the pattern but I purchased it at a garage sale about a month ago for $5 - the entire set in the original box.  It was really tarnished but nothing a little elbow grease couldn't clean up.
 Now the candles are lit!

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS - (no "Happy Holidays" here). We know that Jesus is the reason for the season and Christ's birth gives us all life!  Merry Christmas and Thank you, Jesus!

As always - thanks to Susan at BNOTP for sponsoring Tablescape Thursdays. Remember: "Around the world - - life is best around the table". Thanks for visiting; please leave some encouraging words!

  1. You got an incredible bargain. It is SO pretty. What a beautiful table and setting. Love it all.

  2. What a great deal on the silver! I never have a score like that.

I think your entire Christmas table is lovely, too.

Hope you and your family have the merriest of CHRISTmases. No "happy holidays" around our place either.

  3. What a beautiful table you have made. I loved all your pieces especially the Yuletide plates. Have a Merry Christmas.
