Buffetscape - Shades of Blue; Baltic by Adams of England Ironstone

With Girlz night this Thursday - had to set up the buffet for coffee, tea and dessert!  To match my tablescape for this week - I stayed with the "shades of blue" theme....
The silverware is a set I purchased at a yard sale for $5 72 pieces in its original wood case.  I laid a blue tableclother and then a white lace runner.....

This platter came with the set but is not a piece of the set.  It has no stamping on the back but it is absolutely lovely and is a nice match for this set....
The silver caddy's I purchased at Goodwill for $5.06 for both....need one more for the spoons...
This desert set I purchassed from St. Vincent De Paul's Thirft Store back in November, 40 pieces for $10 - it is a beautiful set - "Baltic" by Adams of England.  They are Hand painted on Real English Ironstone.  From all the information I can find on this set it was made in the 1960's.

As always - thanks to Susan at BNOTP for sponsoring Tablescape Thursdays. Remember: "Around the world - - life is best around the table". Thanks for visiting; please leave some encouraging words!

  1. Your buffet is lovely and I like the dishes you used for the dessert. What did you make?
