68th - Yellow & Green - Flowers....

With all the rain we have been getting here in Florida - my flowers are in full bloom, so it seemed fitting that this weeks tablescape "bloom" like it is outside.

Although, the ceramic, glass and cloth blooms can not compare to the beautiful blooms God has created...we are simulating His creations.....and they are very pretty!

Green placemats, green glass chargers, white dinner plates, the flower shaped desert/salad plates appear to be hand made with no stamping or signature on the back, the white salad bowl is Old American "McCoy", topped with a white linen napkin and flowered napkin ring....The silverware is green enammeled.

I used a yellow runner with a light green lacy runner on top.  The Vase and flower arrangement is one of my favorites.....
I always try to decorate my buffet to match my tablescape...

As always - thanks to Susan at BNOTP for sponsoring Tablescape Thursdays. Remember: "Around the world - - life is best around the table". Thanks for visiting; please leave some encouraging words!

  1. I like your centerpiece ...the way the greenery cascades down the vase.

  2. What a pretty table setting! And yes I iron pillow cases and if I'm feeling really crazy my top sheet. Ironing table linens is a must. My grandmother had a Mengle ironing press to iron all her table linens, it was huge. Clothes I iron only as I need them. But I did learn the correct way to iron a man's dress shirt when I was growing up, something a doubt may younger people know how to do! Please stop by and visit us, we are having a tea time giveaway, the Mom at Cottage and Broome

  4. I love that profusion of yellow tulips in the center of the table! It brings sunny color, picks up on the other yellow objects on the table, and lends great texture with the hanging greenery!
