72nd Tablescape - Black & Gold with a hint of Silver......

Black and gold always a classic....elegant!
This is one of my favorite sayings.....
This set of china I purchased at St. Vincent De Pauls for $20 - it is "Grace", Syracuse China - Made in America!  I love buying sets that are made in America.
Alternating silver & gold chargers and black and gold napkins...
 Kept the buffet simple....
This is a beautiful set with many possibilities....
The splash of silver is pulled from the silver band at the edge, around the china which is then followed by the gold band.

We always have dinner at the table - utilizing the tablescape!  I asked my husband if it was okay to just eat by candlelite, and he said - don't you mean 15 candles.....(what can I say - love the candles)  It is so nice to sit down at a beautiful table!

As always - thanks to Susan at BNOTP for sponsoring Tablescape Thursdays. Remember: "Around the world - - life is best around the table". Thanks for visiting; please leave some encouraging words!

  2. Hi, Tammy! Sorry it has taken me so long to get to your post this week. My husband and I are out of town this weekend, and I am using his VERY slow laptop again. :-( I visit every post every week, and working with this crazy computer has slowed me WAY down! I love the idea of mixing silver & gold elements. It really adds a lot of interest to the table! The china set is great! I'm glad you & your husband are able to sit & enjoy the fruits of your labor! Have a good weekend!
