52nd Tablescape - Mikasa Provencal Greenville

Fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it.  Got 18 pieces for $5.  It is a Mikasa set and is absolutely gorgeous.  Easy to add accent pieces to it..

 The large fluted glasses are a very heavy crystal - purchased them from a Craig's listing - $1 each.

51st Tablescape - Turquoise & White - Cavalier/Homer Laughlin

Busy first week of the year - didn't get a change to post my tablescape last week - so here it is finally. A beautiful set of Homer Laughlin's Eggshell Cavaler/China. This set is Turqoise and white with just a dash of orange! It is a beautiful delicately thin china!

The beautiful three tiered desert server was a Christmas present from my Mother-in-law.  It is so beautiful.

This china set I found at Habitat for Hummanity - the entire set was $5 - for 12 pieces.

These cute little tea towels I found at Hospice 2 for $1...

When I saw this set of glasses I knew they would be perfect fo this set.  I purchased them fro Jericho Ministries Thrift Store; 8 pieces for $5.

I placed them on goldish/white chargers and used a flowered silver set by Wms Rogers.

50th - Tablescape - Snowmen

The weather having turned brrrrrrrrr-y cold here in Florida - Snowmen were a perfect theme for my 50th Tablescape!  Staying indoors to tablescape was an easy choice!

 Glass "cling-on's" are an excellent accent on a glass table.....

 Just love these "Mr. & Mrs. Snowmen"....

48th - Tablescape - A Staffordshire "Yuletide"

Merry Christmas to All!  With Christmas just a few days away had to get out the "Yuletide" china for a tablsescape!  Hope you enjoy!

This china set I almost passed on at the loval Hospice Thrift store - went back 3 times - talked myself out of it twice.  It was marked $10 for the set - when I got to the counter she said - 1/2 off households today - $5...so glad I couldn't talk myself out of it the third time...

 This silver set is pure silver - haven't been able to find out the pattern but I purchased it at a garage sale about a month ago for $5 - the entire set in the original box.  It was really tarnished but nothing a little elbow grease couldn't clean up.

 Now the candles are lit!

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS - (no "Happy Holidays" here). We know that Jesus is the reason for the season and Christ's birth gives us all life!  Merry Christmas and Thank you, Jesus!
