Started with these cute placemats with matching napkins that I found at Hospice Thrift Store. They are all cotton and each one is a little different.
Using two green bowls from another set brought in a different color and changed the dimensions a bit.
Added a silver soup spoon....
Added some candles.....
My favorite embossed green glasses that are perfect for iced tea!
And now the food.....
Fresh green salad.............
Home baked wheat bread. Glasses of iced tea.......
and My Husband's, dry rubbed, grilled baby back ribs.......
The food was fabulous, the settting warm and inviting. Always feel better serving dinner when I have taken the time to set the bar or table just for that occaision. Makes it feel like an event! Thanks for stopping by, please leave some encouraging words so I know you were here and can visit you! As always, thanks to Susan at BNOTP for bringing us all together again this week! Remember: "Around the World, life is best around the table". (I will be on vacation for the next 2 Tablescape Thursdays but look forward to posting a new tablescape when we get back!)
Great barscape -- love your mixture of textures and the food looks mighty tasty! My husband is a rib man as well -- love it~

Tammy, I love how changing an element or two can bring a whole new dimension to a tablescape, and you showed that here! And those ribs! And that bread! I will be right over. I'm assuming one of those places is for me??? ;-)
